Jacobs to train USMC personnel
Jacobs Engineering has been contracted by the US Marine Corps (USMC) Special Operations Command (MARSOC) to provide communications training services to marine raiders combat personnel, it announced on 9 February.
Under the contract Jacobs will provide hands-on training to marine raiders personnel in radio and data communication systems. Jacobs will also provide technical advice to MARSOC on employment and training of future satellite and ground-based communications systems.
Darren Kraabel, senior vice president, aerospace and technology, Jacobs, said: ‘Jacobs is proud to provide this unique and important training capability in support of MARSOC. This appointment extends our long-standing and successful relationship with MARSOC.’
