The RAF has now completed a training needs analysis (TNA) that is helping it assess its method of adoption for I-LVC through a LVC roadmap.
The TNA was conducted by the RAF’s Air Capability branch at HQ Air, RAF High Wycombe to achieve ‘capability coherence’ across a number of future programmes. These include the Defence Operational Training Capability – Air (DOTC(A); Air Support to Defence Operational Training (ASDOT); and the Future Air Combat Manoeuvring Instrumentation System (FACMIS) requirements.
FACMIS is the replacement programme for the UK RAIDS air combat manoeuvring instrumentation system while ASDOT is designed to deliver live air
