Cubic wins simulation support contract
Cubic Global Defense (CGD) has been awarded a three year, $2.3 million contract to support the US Army's Clarke Simulation Center with manoeuvre and mission command training, it announced on 29 March.
CGD will support live, virtual, constructive and game-based (LVCG) training for mission command systems at the simulation centre. It will also provide classrooms at the centre with mission command system training and technical support, along with virtual and gaming operations.
The Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) Clarke Simulation Center is located at Fort Benning, Georgia. It provides courses such as armour and infantry programmes of instruction for enlisted members and officers. Its simulation training will help the active and reserve component as well as tenant units at Fort Benning.
Bill Toti, president, CGD, said: 'As a leading provider of LVCG training in the operational domain at mission readiness centres around the world, Cubic continues to expand our support into the institutional education domain and leadership development in preparing the warfighter for decisive action operations.
'We look forward to continuing our partnership in delivering mission command services to the army and to fulfill MCoE's goal of developing agile, adaptive soldiers and leaders.'
