Bundeswehr receives driver training trucks
Rheinmetall has transferred the first of 35 driver training trucks to BwFuhrparkService, the fleet service provider for the Bundeswehr, in Oldenburg, Germany, the company announced on 1 December.
Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) received the order for 35 TGX 26.360 6X2-2 LL trucks in 2016 under a contract worth around $3.8 million.
The training trucks are derived from RMMV’s TGX series and are based on the MAN Trucknology generation. The vehicles are designed for both civil and military applications.
In October 2017 RMMV was selected to serve as framework contract partner through to 2022.
