The year ahead: ROW land procurement
Outside of the Americas and Europe, for land procurement there are some highlights to look out for in 2017, despite the fact there are fewer official programmes of record that can be accurately tracked.
The main activity for land systems procurement is in the Asia-Pacific region with some other project milestones identified that are due in other regions.
In Asia-Pacific, Australia is expected to issue an RFP for its Land 19 Phase 7B ground-based air defence programme this year and the other main programme is Land 400 Phase 2, which seeks to procure a new combat reconnaissance vehicle.
