Thailand boosts its rocket forces
The Royal Thai Army (RTA) showed off its latest DTI-1G truck-mounted multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) to the public for the first time on 18 January.
In 2012 Thailand and China agreed to develop the DTI-1G MLRS, a guided rocket system based on the Chinese WS-32, providing a range of 70-150km.
The four-tube launcher is installed on a truck with an armoured cabin for the driver and crew. Each rocket carries a 155kg high-explosive warhead with a blast radius of 70m.
