Terrex eyes up MIV
Singapore Technologies Kinetics (STK) is considering making a bid for the UK’s future Mechanised Infantry Vehicle (MIV) programme.
A spokesperson from the company told Shephard that although MIV is still in its early stages, STK has flexibility through its business model, which involves developing a design to reflect customer requirements that fits with its concept of operations.
The company is then able to partner with domestic manufacturers in the customer country to build the vehicles, thus offering a significant portion of domestic industrial content and making the bid politically more attractive.
STK believes it can present a competitive vehicle
