Russia targets 2023 for Sprut-SDM1 serial production
Russian state media reported in January 2021 that the 2S25 Sprut-SDM1 self-propelled anti-tank gun will be adopted into service with the Russian Airborne Forces (VDV) by 2023.
The MoD expects to finish state trials by the end of 2022 and then start serial production the next year. As reported earlier by Rostec, two prototypes were handed over for state trials in August 2020.
