Canadian DND confirms initial delivery of the ACSV for this year
Canada confirmed the initial deliveries of the Armoured Combat Support Vehicle (ACSV) for late 2020 as the country continues its effort to enhance the protection and mobility of its ground troops.
A spokesperson for the Canadian DND explained to Shephard that the ACSV project is currently in the implementation phase, and the 360 units procured will be handed over from this year until 2025.
These platforms will replace the M113 Tracked Light Armoured Vehicle and the Light Armoured Vehicle II (LAV BISON) fleets. The ACSV will equip the Canadian Army and Canadian Forces Health Services.
