Oman MBTs charging up
The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) expects the L18A1 charge to be certified for operation with Challenger II MBT 120mm L23A1 ammunition in August, it has emerged.
Addressing a media briefing on 25 July at BAE Systems’ facility at Radway Green, Kelvyn Grimes, business development manager for munitions described how the UK MoD and the Defence Ordnance Safety Group (DOSG) should approve the charge and shot next month.
