New Nammo ammunition facility starts production
Nammo Lapua initiated production at a new ammunition facility in Sastamala, Finland, on 12 January, the company has announced.
Nammo signed the acquisition agreement for the facility with Finnish aerospace and defense group Patria in November 2014.
The facility in Sastamala is specialised in the production of metal components for artillery and mortar ammunition. It will help Nammo secure supplies for the Finnish Defense Forces and further strengthen the company's existing long-term partnership agreement.
