MSPO 2016: NATO member receives Russian vehicles

Slovakia has received a batch of Russian-made Tigr 4x4 armoured vehicles, according to the head of Russian’s Military Industrial Company (VGZ).

Speaking to TASS news agency, General Alexander Krasovitsky said the vehicles had been delivered but not disclose when the deliveries occurred, or how many the Slovakians had received.

The Tigr was displayed by VGZ at the International Defence Exhibition Bratislava (IDEB 2016) in May. According to a press release from VGZ, it also appeared at a military hardware festival near Bratislava in June (see photo).
