MBDA eyes key air defence programmes
Missile manufacturer MBDA is positioning itself for a number of air defence modernisation programmes that are on the horizon including in Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and Poland.
The company is one of the major players in the air defence market outside the US and is hoping to cement its position as new requirements are set out by several European nations.
During a press conference held on 27 March, Chris Allam, managing director of MBDA UK, told Shephard that the timing of the new requirements from European countries and elsewhere ‘was just about perfect’ for the company and its products such as
