Small arms manufacturer Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) is unveiling a new weapon inventory management solution called eLog at this year’s LAAD exhibition in Rio de Janeiro.
The eLog system is the first time the Israeli weapons company – best known for the Tavor, X95 (Micro Tavor), and ACE Assault Rifles – has developed a software-based product.
According to IWI the solution consists of three main components; weapon-embedded sensor modules, PDA terminals to collect data and a computer-based armourer management software.
