The future of military vehicle power is green as advances in civil hybrid automotive technologies and recent environmental directives drive a renewed upsurge into alternative powers research.

The new collaborative European research project Hybrid Drive Trains for Military Vehicles (HybriDT) is one sign of this shift towards greener power sources.
