Defexpo 2014: Kalyani develops indigenous 155mm
Indian company Kalyani is displaying a prototype of its indigenously designed 155mm/52 cal self-propelled gun at the Defexpo exhibition in Delhi.
Referring to the Bharat-52 weapon system, a spokesman from Kalyani told Shephard that they are ‘not looking at any procurement programmes’ because the development of the gun is an internal company effort to prove the system and establish a domestic capability in the design and production of 155mm systems.
