The AFT-10 anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launcher made its public debut during China’s military parade in Tiananmen Square on 3 September.

A total of 16 AFT-10 vehicles belonging to the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) appeared in the spectacle in Beijing. The vehicle, featuring non-line of sight (NLOS) missiles, received wider attention after featuring in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s ‘Peace Mission’ exercise held in China in August 2014.

The land missile system likely uses fibre-optic-guided missiles, and could be described as a Chinese equivalent of the Rafael Spike NLOS from Israel.
