China S-400 deliveries near
The People’s Liberation Army of China is expected to get a new long-range surface-to-air missile (SAM) system.
It will take delivery of the Russian-made S-400 Triumph (SA-21 Growler) in early 2017 to equip its first regiment with delivery of a second batch for a second regiment to be completed by June 2019.
The schedule of the Russian S-400 delivery to China has been revealed by state-run Russian news agency TASS, although the deal first came to light in April 2015.
