Good for Enterprise was implemented by HP across the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) to secure apps and content on smartphones issued under the navy's Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) contract.
Good for Enterprise leverages the application containerisation model of the Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform to create a secure perimeter around critical data and separate personal data and apps. It is currently the only cross-platform mobile collaboration solution with EAL4+ certification on either iOS or Android. The solution also supports other security and authentication credentials, including the Department of Defense Directive 8100.2, HSPD-12 and FIPS-validated encryption.
Christy Wyatt, chairman and CEO, Good Technology, said: 'Government customers today require both innovation and a great user experience while meeting the most rigorous security standards. We are honoured to partner with HP to transition US Navy onto modern platforms, securely connecting them to data and great apps, across devices, while improving mission efficiency and success.'
