Telos secures NETCENTS-2 task order
Telos has secured a five-year, $108 million task order under the US Air Force’s (USAF) Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS) contract, the company announced on 5 March.
The contract provides networks operations, infrastructure systems, planning and support for the Air Combat Command (ACC), to enable mission defence teams to execute defensive cyber operations for weapon and mission systems across the command.
Under the task order, Telos will perform enterprise architecture planning, engineering, project and configuration management of network enterprise services at 17 ACC sites across the US.
The task order also covers integration of voice, data and video communications with commercial, DoD and coalition networks and encryption for on-base secret communications.
Ed Williams, COO of Telos, said: ‘Protecting the USAF network and mission systems is more important today than ever before. As a vital part of this front line defence capability, Telos is proud to incorporate innovative and emerging technologies to improve the USAF’s IT systems and mission performance. In the key area of defensive cyber operations, the ACC is leading the way for the USAF.’
