SOFIC 2012: DRS launches C4InSight suite for vehicle ISR
DRS Technologies has launched the C4InSight integrated C4ISR suite which it is delivering to the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) for integration on its fleet of vehicles.
Some 400 systems have been delivered to date, Bill Guyan, VP of DRS Tactical Systems told Shephard at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) in Tampa, Florida, on 24 May.
The system will ultimately be installed on 1,200 vehicles owned by USSOCOM has including Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) RG-31 and RG-33 vehicles, the Ground Mobility Vehicles and the MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle. Deliveries began some 18 months ago,
