World Defense Show 2026: Northrop Grumman to present improved C2 management system
The Northrop Grumman Integrated Battle Command System is in service with Poland and the US Army with another 20 countries believed to have expressed an interest.
SBG Technology Solutions has won a support services contract for US Navy communication systems, the company announced on 13 February.
The multi-year contract with the Navy Program Executive Office Space Systems (PEO SS) will see SBG provide support services. These services will include operational maintenance, logistics, training, development, system testing and evaluation, production support and integration of naval, foreign military, joint military and commercial communication systems, communication links and encrypted secure networks under the responsibility of PMW 146.
PEO SS plays a major role in the design, acquisition, and operation of national security space programmes to provide full on-orbit capabilities supporting open-ocean, naval land and littoral operations. SBG 's services will support the management, maintenance and operational functionality of these systems.
Vic Blanco, director of contracts, SBG, said: 'We are thrilled to continue our work with PEO SS and PMW 146. We will use our experience with the navy and PEO SS to execute these mission-critical communications functions for the navy.'
