World Defense Show 2026: Northrop Grumman to present improved C2 management system
The Northrop Grumman Integrated Battle Command System is in service with Poland and the US Army with another 20 countries believed to have expressed an interest.
Saab has received an order from Lockheed Martin Canada to deliver its Sea Giraffe AMB naval radar for the Royal Canadian Navy's Joint Support Ships (JSS), the company announced on 5 April.
Lockheed Martin Canada was selected by Seaspan's Vancouver Shipyards, the programme’s prime contractor, to provide command management system and integration for the new Protecteur-class JSS. Saab’s Sea Giraffe AMB will form part of the command management system for the new ships.
The Protecteur-class vessels will support the navy by providing re-supply of fuel, ammunition, spare parts and other supplies between ships at sea and will be capable of transporting cargo, supporting operations ashore and responding to threats in uncertain security environments.
Deliveries will take place between 2020 and 2022.
