Pragma Systems, a leading provider of enterprise-class remote access and security software for servers and mobile devices, announced that the United Stated Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) is utilizing the FIPS Certified Pragma FortressSSH Server for secure file transfer (SFTP). The application provides a reliable way to utilize secure system administration, application delivery and secure encrypted file transfer throughout computing environments while maintaining the US Government requirements for security and cryptographic standards.
Pragma FortressSSH is the only secure shell server and client available today that holds its own FIPS 140-2 certificate (Certificate # 1500) for Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008/R2 as issued by NIST's CMVP (Cryptographic Module Validation Program) ensuring data security encryption compliance. Pragma is also listed on the Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Capabilities Approved Products List (UC APL) and passed the US Army Technology Integration Center's (TIC) testing protocols.
"Pragma Systems is pleased to have USMEPCOM as a customer of our Fortress SSH Server technology," stated Andrew Tull, vice president of sales and marketing for Pragma Systems. "Pragma has tirelessly worked to get our SSH Server technology listed on the Department of Defense's Unified Capabilities Approved Product List (UC APL), and we look forward to continuing to provide our fully certified technology for SSH/SFTP and SCP to all facets of United States government."
By using Pragma's SSH/SFTP/SCP Servers and Clients, which embed its certified cryptographic modules, customers can copy, deploy and manage files securely from Windows machines to Cisco routers, network switches, Unix servers, Linux servers and Mainframes using SFTP and SCP. Pragma's Server uses patent-pending technology to deliver Windows command sessions to remote clients efficiently, securely and reliably. Systems administrators and authorized users have secure access to remote systems, automating server and desktop management tasks and performing file transfers securely to servers and cloud computers for critical data access and management.
