PacStar solutions for US Army SFAB comms
PacStar will provide its tactical network baseband solution for six US Army Security Forces Assistance Brigades (SFAB) under a $20 million contract announced on 9 October.
The US Army’s SFABs provide training, advice, assistance and accompanying operations with allied and partner nations.
PacStar’s baseband system will enable deployed SFABs to access the army’s tactical communications network for mission command, fielding and training efforts over the next three years.
PacStar’s baseband system consists of its PacStar 400-Series small form factor tactical and deployable communications modules and includes a variety of networking, computing, storage and wireless solutions.
