World Defense Show 2026: Northrop Grumman to present improved C2 management system
The Northrop Grumman Integrated Battle Command System is in service with Poland and the US Army with another 20 countries believed to have expressed an interest.
Additional infrared countermeasures and electronic warfare management systems will be integrated on all Lot 9 and Lot 10 P-8A Poseidon, following a $27,291,319 fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract.
Northrop Grumman will act as the lead system integrator for the ALQ-213(V) Electronic Warfare Management Unit (EWMU) and AN/AAQ-24 Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) and intends to complete the integration of the additional systems by February 2021.
The required system hardware will support the active production line of Lots 9 and 10 for both the US Navy, as well as FMS customers the UK RAF and Australia, Northrop Grumman told Shephard.
