Northrop awarded USCYBERCOM contract
Northrop Grumman has received a contract worth $54.62 million from the US Air Force to serve as Unified Platform systems coordinator for the US Cyber Command's Unified Platform programme, the company announced on 29 October.
As the Unified Platform systems coordinator, Northrop Grumman will integrate disparate cyberspace platforms, enabling integrated management and synchronised cyber operations to provide US forces rapid access to a full spectrum of cyber capabilities.
Unified Platform will support all defensive and offensive cyber operations, as well as cyber ISR for the US Cyber Command’s Cyber Mission Force.
