MASS consolidates countermeasure capabilities

EW operational support company MASS is continuing to invest in a countermeasures simulation and modelling technology package known as Counterworks, as it bids to reduce costs of live testing for customers.

As part of developing the system, in-house engineers are able to assess the effectiveness of countermeasures and analysis technical issues like how to combat threats based on first detection or best manoeuvring platforms to move out of a weapons engagement zone.
