World Defense Show 2026: Northrop Grumman to present improved C2 management system
The Northrop Grumman Integrated Battle Command System is in service with Poland and the US Army with another 20 countries believed to have expressed an interest.
xG Technology’s IMT Vislink has received a $12.5 million contract from the US Army to supply hand-held ISR receiver devices, the company announced on 20 November.
Deliveries are expected to be completed in September 2020.
Equipment to be delivered includes ruggedised, lightweight hand-held receivers intended to display real-time video imagery transmitted by aerial assets or frontline surveillance platforms, along with related accessories.
George Schmitt, executive chairman and CEO of xG Technology, said: ‘We are honoured to have been chosen by the US Army to fulfill this important contract.
‘We will work closely with the army to ensure they gain maximum effectiveness of our equipment in conducting their operations. We look forward to commencing product deliveries and have already manufactured 50 units that are ready to ship as needed to our forces overseas.’
