European land modernisation programmes are offering new and significant opportunities for local producers of military sub-systems.
Mesit Defence, a Czech-based tactical communications company, currently has its eye on possible market growth opportunities emerging from the Slovakian Army’s long-awaited land modernisation programme.
Mesit is positioning itself to offer its third generation radio system, the RF40, as a vehicle communications system for the Slovakian army’s new fleet of military vehicles. Currently undergoing a final round of internal trials, serial production of the RF40 is scheduled to begin later this year once testing has concluded.
