World Defense Show 2026: Northrop Grumman to present improved C2 management system
The Northrop Grumman Integrated Battle Command System is in service with Poland and the US Army with another 20 countries believed to have expressed an interest.
A fleet of F/A-18s are being regenerated with upgraded avionics and the first aircraft are already beginning their service duties for the USMC, Boeing has announced.
The F/A 18C is a single seater fighter jet with a twin-engine.
Firstly, the F/A-18Cs platform is put through an overhaul and this is then followed by an avionics upgrade heightening the model to an upgraded C+. The USMC have requested for 30 aircraft to receive the update.
‘Currently, we have two of them that have already been validated,’ said Bill Maxwell, senior manager of Cecil Field F/A-18 operations at Boeing.
