Harris radios for Eastern European nation
An undisclosed Eastern European nation has placed a $10 million order with Harris Corporation for high-frequency (HF) tactical radios, the company announced on 5 November.
The radios to be delivered will be based on Harris' Falcon HF tactical radios. They will be deployed by the customer to create long-range, secure communication networks and enable seamlessly connectivity with coalition partners.
Chris Young, president, Harris Communication Systems, said: ‘The Harris radios will enable the nation’s Ministry of Defense to field secure communication networks that interoperate with their existing equipment, as well as with those used by coalition forces.’
