Harris Corporation, an international communications and information technology company has been awarded a five-year, $26 million contract to provide managed information technology solutions to the Air National Guard Network and Regional Operations and Security Centers.
The one-year, base-period contract - with four one-year options - includes Tier III support for all facets of the enterprise IT system such as applications, infrastructure, vulnerability assessment, directory services, boundary protection and messaging.
The Air National Guard will transform from a decentralized network management model to a centrally managed environment. This award was issued through the US Air Force Network-Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract - a five-year acquisition initiative that delivers interoperability and ongoing development of state-of-the-art technology and system solutions to the Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal agencies.
