EW Europe: Processing power added to computers

A computing company has announced a new family of computers will be able to use the latest processor systems.

The company, which develops storage solutions, small rugged data recorder systems, servers and network attached storage (NAS) devices, stated a well known processor, designed to suit embedded processing applications, will be included in their systems. 

The company stated that this kind of processing would add to the its range of compact mission computers as ‘the ultra-small conduction cooled design is optimized for the severe environments encountered in military intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance applications’.
