Eurosatory: BAE Systems unveils vehicle situation awareness concept

BAE Systems is working up designs for a next-generation situation awareness system for ground platforms, a company executive has divulged.

Addressing the media at a pre-Eurosatory briefing on 6 May, Dan Lindell, CV90 platform manager at BAE Systems, would not disclose the name of the development but said it would ‘improve night and day all-round vision for land vehicle crews and passengers’.

The programme has been ongoing for a couple of years now, Lindell added, and said it was a collaborative effort between various elements of the wider BAE Systems family of companies around the world including the Electronic Systems
