Eurosatory 2010: Sagem demonstrates CAS solution
Sagem displayed its Joint Air Controller Vehicle (JAC-V) concept demonstrator for the first time. The JAC-V leverages technology from Sagems FELIN digital infantry system to link information from FELIN-equipped soldiers, joint terminal attack controllers (JTAC), forward observers (FO), unmanned air vehicles and other air assets to develop blue force, red force situational awareness.
The demonstrator is integrated in a Panhard PVP light armoured vehicle although a larger vehicle could be specified by the French Army and/or French Air Force. A request for proposal could be issued before the end of this year or early in 2011.
