Electro Optic Systems (EOS) has announced a contract to provide military sub-systems and components to Hyundai-Wia.
The $7.47 million contract will see EOS deliver surveillance and force protection parts and sub-systems over a 12-month period beginning in the third quarter of 2015. Hyundai-Wia will also produce some EOS designs under license for this requirement.
EOS teamed with Hyundai-Wia in 2012 under an agreement that sees work shares allocated to each company in the case of contract wins for military surveillance, electronics and force protection products.
