DSEI 2015: UKTI showcases industry (video)
Representatives from UK Trade and Investment Defence and Security Organisation (UKTI DSO) used the DSEI exhibition to showcase various technologies on offer from UK industry.
Savox has secured a contract with an unnamed Middle Eastern country for its IMPs vehicle C4I system.
Talking to Shephard at the DSEI exhibition in London, Mikael Westerlund, chief strategic officer at Savox, said the value of the contract was about €10-20 million and he expects deliveries and installations to begin in Q4 2015.
Following factory acceptance of IMPs in Finland in October, Westerlund said Savox will integrate the system in ‘several hundreds’ of vehicles with the assistance of a local installation company.
This is the company’s first major land systems contract and IMPs will be fitted on A-class and
