Boeing gets EA-18G processor network kits order
US Naval Air Systems Command has exercised an option to procure retrofit kits from Boeing for incorporation of the Distributed Targeting Processor-Network into the US Navy’s EA-18G Growler aircraft.
The company was awarded a $24 million modification for the kits against a previously issued basic ordering agreement on 21 November.
Boeing will supply 34 Group A-1 retrofit kits, 34 Group A-2 retrofit kits, and 34 Group B retrofit kits for incorporation of the Distributed Targeting Processor-Network into the EA-18G.
Work will be complete in June 2022.
