AUSA Global: US Army looks to nanosats

One of the emerging space technologies drawing significant attention from US Army strategic and tactical planners involves the application of miniaturised satellites dubbed ‘nanosats’.

Speaking before the AUSA Global Force symposium in Huntsville, Alabama, Lt Gen David Mann, the commanding general of US Army Space and Missile Defense Command / Army Forces Strategic Command, acknowledged that the army is not alone in its nanosat explorations.
