AUSA Global: Rockwell launches TruNET radios
Rockwell Collins has launched its new family of software defined radios (SDRs) at the AUSA Global exhibition in Huntsville.
The TruNET family includes seven radios in the airborne (AR), ground (GR) and handheld (HH) categories. The airborne radios include the AR-1000 (US variant) and AR-1500 (export variant) with one channel and the AR-2000 (US variant) and AR-2500 (export variant) with two channels.
The ground radio segment includes the GR-2000 (US variant) and GR-2500 (export variant) with two channel and the TIGR handheld series of one channel radios developed with Thales Defense and Security based in Clarksville, Maryland.
