AUSA 2015: Harris wants to be SANR

Harris will supply five or more sample systems of its Airborne Multi-channel Radio (HAMR) under its Small Airborne Networking Radio (SANR) programme.

A spokesperson from the company told Shephard at the AUSA exhibition in Washington DC that they have responded to a draft RFP that was put out in September.

Another RFP is expected in December to develop the requirements further before a final RFP is issued in Q3 2016.
When the final RFP is issued industry will have 60 days to respond before providing bid samples for testing that will take about a year. An award is expected in
