AUSA 2013: MBDA advances SPEAR

MBDA Missile Systems expects to conduct platform integration trials of its SPEAR network-enabled precision surface attack air-to-ground missile (ATGM) late next year. 

The company is hopeful of being able to achieve an in-service date (ISD) three years later if it wins the competition to meet the UK’s Selective Precision Effect At Range (SPEAR) Capability 3 requirement.
