Saudi Arabia to receive first F-15SA

The Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) is set to receive this week the first batch of F-15SA aircraft from Boeing Defense.

The US congress was notified on October 2010 of Saudi Arabia's request for the $29.432 billion purchase of 84 F-15SA aircraft and upgrade of another 70 from their current fleet of F-15S. The announcement was made on Saturday by US Defence Secretary Ashton Carter at the International Institute of Strategic Studies annual Manama Dialogue.
