Saab faces up to Gripen supply chain fears
Saab has admitted its Gripen E/F programme has had to undergo reassessment in light of COVID-19 issues affecting industry, with the company turning to new suppliers and implementing a series of ‘mitigating actions’.
The extent to which the pandemic has adversely impacted the manufacturer was made clear on 19 October during a nine-month financial report presentation, in which an increase in ‘future risks’ for Saab’s Aeronautics division was identified.
