Experts say Russia and China upping pace and sophistication of cyber threats
Russian and Chinese cyber capabilities have matured to the point that on ‘any given day’ they are being used to try and hack into UK defence systems, according to military analysts.
In so doing, the two state adversaries are actively seeking to interfere with decision-making and reduce the performance of key technologies relied upon by the UK MoD, Dr James Lewis, VP of the strategic technologies programme at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said during a 10 November UK parliamentary defence committee hearing.
