Pentagon report warns of PLA’s meteoric rise
On 1 September the Pentagon issued its 20th and most comprehensive report on developments within the Chinese military, for the benefit of the US Congress and analysts around the world.
The report covered the period until the end of 2019 so it did not discuss the impact of COVID-19, which emanated from Wuhan, had on the PLA. It delineated great changes within the PLA, continuity of which shows no let-up.
