Textron Aviation is displaying its Beechcraft AT-6 light attack and reconnaissance aircraft, which has recently been rebranded as the ‘Wolverine’, at this year’s Paris Air Show.

Russ Bartlett, president of Beechcraft Defense Systems, told Shephard the Wolverine name would add more emotion. ‘We selected the Wolverine because it’s very ferocious and very capable,’ he explained.

The AT-6 features a more powerful 1,600shp engine, the A-10C’s mission computers and an EO/IR turret from the US Air Force’s MC-12W ISR aircraft.
