Leonardo undeterred by Poland’s F-35 intentions

The Eurofighter Typhoon consortium bid, led by Leonardo, to replace Poland’s Soviet era MiG-29 and Su-22 jets remains on track despite the Eastern European country formally issuing a F-35A quotation request to the US government.

Leonardo is awaiting the next phase of the original procurement, which is still to be communicated to industry by the Polish MoD, after an RfI phase closed last year.
