Estonia receives M-28 light transport aircraft
The Estonian Air Force will enhance its operational capability by the acquisition of two M-28 Skytruck light transport aircraft donated by the US government, the first of which has already been handed over.
Delivery of the first Estonian M-28 twin-engine, light transport aircraft, which took place on 12th March at the Ämari Air Base, marked a turning point for the Estonian Air Force.
New aircraft, together with the second M-28, which should be commissioned in 2019, will match the Estonian requirement ‘to support and train for various capabilities like basic Interceptor Controller and Joint Terminal Attack Controller training’, according to
